2000 MCAS Scores: Quincy
The results of the state's school evaluations are in. Quincy had many impressive scores in the 2000 MCAS tests. To rank the school's performance, the Boston Globe added the scaled scores for the three subjects tested (English, math and science) in the three grades (4th, 8th and 10th) for each district. The history test given to the 8th grade was not used in the analysis. Several Quincy Schools ranked well above average and Squantum School was one of the most improved when compared with the 1998 scores.

221-240 = Needs Improvement
241-260 = Proficient
261-280 = Advanced
