NHS Down Payment Assist Program

*10K Max per household up to 5% down payment/closing costs or 10k which ever is lower. Communities that are in bold print are communities that NHS can lend in, for all other communities please contact NHS for a referral. (contact participating non-profit for specifics pertaining to % of own funds into the transaction.)
**The City of Quincy can provide up to 9% of the down payment. The City will provide 4% of the sales price and an additional 5% (up to 10K) will come through the City from DHCD for a total of 9%. The borrower must have 3% of their own funds into the transaction. The City will also reimburse the borrowers closing costs up to $2000.00 (except for escrows and points). Inspection fees can also be reimbursed.

All other communities listed above will provide a maximum of 5K of the sales price.This 5K can be any combination of down payment, closing costs, and reimbursed expenses. Borrowers must provide at least 2% of their own funds into the transaction. The above information is subject tochange without notice.
